LUMINANCE
The measured amount of light reflected by a surface.
LUMINOUS FLUX
The rate of flow of light, measured in lumens. The overall light output of a lamp.
LUX
A measure of the level of illumination on a surface (1 lumen spread over 1 metre).
LX
Short for Electrics. The department in the theater responsible for stage lighting and sometimes sound and maintenance of the building's electrical equipment.
